Ph.D. Jakov Dulčić is scientific advisor at the IOF and head of the Laboratory of ichthyology and coastal fishery. His research in recent years is mainly related to long-term changes in coastal communities and the status of new and indigenous fish species in relation to climate change and Lessepsian migration.

Ph.D. Sanja Matić-Skoko is a scientific advisor to the IOF in the Laboratory of ichthyology and coastal fishery. Her Her research is related to biology and ecology of fishes. Special attention is given to the economically important fish species and the status of coastal resources in terms of management and protection of biodiversity in general.

Ph.D. Nika Stagličić is a research fellow at the IOR-in. Her research covers a broad array of topics related to MPAs (Marine Protected Areas) and ecology of coastal communities.

Ph.D. Pero Tutman is senior research associate at the IOR-in. His research covers a variety of topics in biology of fish and aquaculture.

Ph.D. Branko Dragičević works as a research associate at the IOR-in. He actively participates in all laboratory activities covering topics of alien species, population dynamics of commercial species and various topics of ichthyological significance.

Ph.D. Dubravka Bojanić Varezić also works as a research associate at the IOR-in. She is mainly involved in research related to ichthyoplankton and diet and trophic relations investigations.

Ph.D. Nedo Vrgoč the scientific advisor to the IOR-in. His scope of work includes demersal resources, with particular reference to the demographics of elasmobranchs and sustainable use and management of demersal fisheries and demersal resources.

Ph.D. Igor Isajlović the research associate at IOF. He covers topics concerning demersal resources, with particular reference to the population dynamics of demersal resources and bathyal ichthyofauna.

Ph.D. Barbara Zorica is a senior research associate at the IOF and her scientific activity is focused on the study of biology and ecology of pelagic fish species including determination, morphology, distribution, population dynamics, management of offshore resources.

Ph.D. Vanja Čikeš-Keč is a senior research associate at the IOF and her scientific activity is focused on the study of various problems of biology and ecology of pelagic fish species including determination, morphology, distribution and population dynamics.

Ph.D. Marcelo Kovačić is scientific adviser, works as a museum consultant at the Natural History Museum Rijeka. He deals with taxonomy, zoogeography, phylogeny, ecology and biology of goby fish and other small fish.

Ph.D. Svjetlana Krstulović-Šifner works at the University of Split. Her research interests are related to the research of biology, ecology and population dynamics of demersal species and communities, mainly of cephalopods, and the related sustainable use and management of demersal fisheries and demersal resources.
