2nd MANTIS General Meeting was held on 7th and 8th of March 2018 in Rome at the National Research Council (CNR). The meeting gathered representatives of the project partners: Italian National Research Council- Institute for Coastal Marine Environment (CNR-IAMC), Institute of Marine Science (CNR-ISMAR), The National Inter-University Consortium for Marine Sciences (CoNISMa), WWF Italy, National Institute of Oceanography and Experimental Geophysics (OGS), World Wildlife Fund Italy (WWF Italy) Nisea, OCEANA, Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries and Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture within the Ministry for Sustainable Development, the Environment and Climate Change (DFA, MSDEC).
During the meeting, each work package leader, presented the work accomplished under each work package of MANTIS project as well as activities planned for a future period of the project. Special attention was given to the discussion about the issues linked to the integration of information on connectivity (larval dispersal and adult migrations), collected in WP2 with modelling done in WP3, to the preparation of Final meeting and scheduled stakeholder’s meetings.
During a project meeting SafeNet project, that is a MANTIS sister project, was also presented to the project partners.
