Second scientific survey with scientific vessel BIOS DVA was successfully brought to an end. All samples and measurements (ichthyoplankton, juvenile and adult fish specimens, temperature, salinity) were collected and transferred to the laboratory where they will be analysed.
We participated in the 55th Croatian & 15th International Symposium on Agriculture with a poster presentation “Distribution of anchovy eggs stages during the day along the eastern Adriatic Sea”. Presented results were the data collected during first scientific survey of this Project. Here is a link to the Book of Abstracts
Larvae collected through first scientific survey were prepared for DNA barcoding, which at the end reveal that we have collected 21 different fish species in our ichthyoplankton samples.

43rd Annual Larval Fish Conference, May 21-24th, 2019 Palma, Balearic Islands, Spain The Early Life History Section of the American Fisheries Society organized the 43rd Annual Larval Fish Conference. Within this conference was organized Larval Fish Identification Workshop at the IEO Centre. On this Conference two posters related to this Project were presented.
First Skype meeting with our consultants is behind us. After all the work meetings with our consultants, we decided to round up our work via Skype meeting. Some work-related gridlines were defined and agreed.
