First results of fish egg DNA barcoding
Fish eggs were collected through two scientific surveys (2019, 2020) in the warmer part of the year. DNA barcoding of those fish eggs reveals that they belonged to 27 different fish species.

Third scientific survey with scientific vessel BIOS DVA successfully started. All samples (ichthyoplankton, juvenile and adult fish specimens, temperature, salinity) are collected and transferred to the laboratory where they will be analysed.
Second scientific survey with scientific vessel BIOS DVA was successfully brought to an end. All samples and measurements (ichthyoplankton, juvenile and adult fish specimens, temperature, salinity) were collected and transferred to the laboratory where they will be analysed.
Larvae collected through first scientific survey were prepared for DNA barcoding, which at the end reveal that we have collected 21 different fish species in our ichthyoplankton samples.
